A Colorful Sports Tournament for 2009

Basketball and Volleyball enthusiast come together as they joined the Brgy. Singkamas Inter-Color Sports Tournament for 2009.

It was a project from the SK council headed by SK Chair. Reygin Faith C. Gan for the youth of Singkamas, to further enhance their abilities on sports thru competition.

At the Awarding ceremony Brgy. Capt. Elizabeth B. Ison graced the whole affair by cheering the kids, in return the players gave their all at the championship, putting themselves to the limit to have the best performance of their life (yet!).

We also give our thanks to Brgy. Carmona for letting us use their Sports Complex to be the venue for this year's tournament.

Flores de Mayo 2009

It was a fortunate day indeed
for the parade to go and proceed,
Everyone's praying not to rain
for it would really be a shame.

Everyone's all dressed-up
Girls faces bedazzled us with their shiny make-up.
Oh what a joy it has been
to see our 2009 May Flower Queen!

Smiles we see, we're all stress-free,
All Brgy. Singkamas that can be.
Children on dresses all willing to walk
around the Community, oh it will be a great talk!

Since it was truly a joy, what a scene,
to see our 2009 May Flower Queen!

B.E.S.T. receives allowance

After two months of hard work, from preparation of buntings, to participation in different events / activities throughout the barangay, the Barangay Employment Study Training (BEST) program kids look forward to a new chapter in their life: HIGH SCHOOL!

What better way to start their high school life than having new school supplies, or maybe additional uniforms other than the City Government of Makati provides, like new pair of socks, underwear, etc. and Brgy. Singkamas tries to give / augment it's service through financial allowance that the kids of BEST worked hard for two months.
